Do giantesses wear pants? I don’t know. I’m just asking. This one was left over from Christmas and deserves to come forward and be recognized before the holidays truly are over. When is that going to be you ask? I don’t know. I’m still going strong tonight. It seems like we had a big night a couple of days ago and now the party is resuming.
And our impressively large friend here IS part of the display at the Ginter Botanical Gardens in Richmond. So she looks like she is working on a garden to me. And maybe I need another drink. But I did have a few minutes to look around and see what else I could discover about green giantesses.

Created by Stan Lee and John Buscema (probably Lee’s last notable comic creation), Jennifer Walters was dying, and needed a blood transfusion from her cousin, Bruce Banner, to live.
As a result of the transfusion, Jennifer, like her cousin Bruce, became a Hulk-like being.
Jennifer eventually controlled herself, and after laying low for awhile, made a major comeback as a member of the Avengers, for which she was a member for a number of years.

Today’s thoughts of gratitude are turned towards the little ones whose seem to shine in our presence. I mean of course the little children who come to see us during the holidays. And I could add all of their parents who are so wonderful and probably come up with twelve shining lights. But let’s just say that all of them bring vibrant life, laughter and joy to our home.
I see them and in a moment all the trials and tribulations of a lifetime are nothing. Because they are here.

And then there is the exquisite beauty that lies at the center of the human soul. The joyous light and sound that can in a moment blaze out of each of us in a thousand directions brighter than the sun. The brilliant moment beyond time when all of the voices that ever spoke are suddenly silent with awe at what is before them. The first Christmas.
Sometimes we cry with joy. These are the best music videos of Andrea Bocelli I could find on the web for the Holidays.

Happy Holidays to everybody. And especially to those who for reasons known only to themselves are not in the mood to communicate . The weeks go by and gradually it dawns that they are not coming back. You don’t have to hit me over the head with a tripod.
I am left to wonder why and finally decide to put a bandage on the place that is in need of repair . And then once again remember to rejoice in family and friends who stay the course and somehow manage to say what is on their minds. They cannot be appreciated too much.
And most of all I thank my lovely wife who understands all and has at least one good laugh and several smiles ready at all times to get her through every day. She is a Blessing and a Joy all wrapped up in a Wise package. There is not a day that goes by that I do not say a prayer of thanks that she is on this earth. I wish I could share her picture with you but she is also fearful of the internet.
However I do have one photo of her that she doesn’t mind if I share. She is such a lady. It thrills me that she finally relented and I can share this with you.
Update: Note to self….when you’re unsure if you are on somebody’s good list or their other list it really pays just to ask. Send off a little email and maybe you will discover your imagination has taken you for a ride.
