My sister, Linda, sometimes reads this blog. And I appreciate it. It seems like a lot of my family members are weirded out by this opportunity I have taken to express myself. That’s one reason why you don’t see more photos of people here. Lots of folks fear the internet. I fear the parking lot at Walmart or Target and the highway down the road. Also chimpanzees.

Anyway, this is the view from her back window. It’s all very nice as long as the bears stay away which they do most of the time. I worry about the bears, too.

Here are two birds from Orlando and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. They look like they are talking to each other while they take a leisurely walk. Some may disagree but I think they are beautiful birds with long flowing necks and backs. Their legs are amazing. And, of course, you have to have an unusual color for such an unusual looking bird so what about pink? The Grand Designer must have been having an interesting day when he came up with this bird.

I may end up being a bird watcher because the more time I spend taking pictures of birds and studying them the more I enjoy it. I suppose it could be an enjoyable way to get out into the woods and get some fresh air. But I would have to go someplace where there were not any bears. Bears have been known to be unfriendly in the woods.

I can see it all now. I’m trying to take his picture. And he’s thinking about having me for dinner. We have been down this road recently in this blog. Probably it’s too soon to go down it again. Let’s just think about the joy of hearing and seeing a bird outside the window. Here’s another one. This one has a nice collection of colors on his back that would be nice in LLBean’s fall collection of sweaters.
