Virginia Is For Families

Do you sometimes hear a great song on the radio and wish you had it on your music player?

You could listen to it anytime the mood struck you.  It would be there for you anytime you needed it.

What if you hear it on your car radio while you are busy dealing with crazy drivers and inclement weather.  How do you snag it out of the air and take it home with you.

I have a plan!   And it works.

First of all I would encourage you to think about getting satellite radio installed in your car if you don’t already have it.  It makes the miles go by so much more quickly.  And it also allows you to get the name of the group and the title of the song when you hear something you really love.

Then write it down or memorize it or record it on the little tape recorder you carry around to record important information so you won’t forget it.

You do that already right?  I do it and it has kept me in business long after my own memory started giving me “blank stares”.

Or maybe you have a great memory and don’t need any props.  That’s great and I envy you.

Music is such an important part of our lives.  It would also make sense to have a good program for ensuring you never lose your music.  Backing up files is very important.

All my files are automatically backed up.  The music and photo files have a home in cyberspace.  Then when the computer crashes as it inevitably will I can load a fresh copy of Windows and have all the music and photos back in place in a short while.  All of  this seems rather simple I know but how many of us actually do it?

So that’s the idea.   Hope it helps you to stay tuned into your favorite songs.   Basia has a wonderful voice and Waters of March is one of my favorite tunes.   I didn’t even realize she sang this song until I went to Amazon.com and looked at all her recordings.
