Your Public Library/ An Internet Resource

If you need expert information and don’t want to pay for it on the web why not look into your public library resources?

You may be able to get a lot of stuff free that you would otherwise have to pay for in the real world.  Here’s a list of resources we can get here in Henrico County which is part of  Richmond, Virginia  just by having a library card.  How does your library stack up against this one?

Update//  Maybe I should have said the Henrico County is part of the Richmond Metro area.  It’s not part of the City of Richmond.

I’m one of the librarians at the Twin Hickory library and THANKS for the plug of our library system’s databases!! Technically though we aren’t part of Richmond…close but a little different. I hope you will use the databases frequently and if you have any questions just let us know.

Thanks much. I am already working on a series of posts about this guy

Jean-Paul Francois, Count de Grasse, Marquis de Tilly,

after discovering his statue near Virginia Beach. These resources are amazing. If only we had these tools when we went to school…. But then some of us would not have appreciated them as much most likely.
