When I say I love you
I don’t mean
I love you today or
I love you for the rest of our lives.
I mean
I love you for every moment that exists
From now until the very end of time.
And then
When time has retired
And stars are falling
All around usI will hold your hand
And love you all the way
Back to this moment
To tell you once more
That I love you.

Wow! Did you write this poem David? It is truly remarkable and such a poignant and true expression of what love really is. I am proud of you! Such beautiful words…sentiments that I pray every one on Earth can feel at least once in their lives if not feeling/living it as a way of life.
