Sea Travel
filter and sat bump , originally uploaded by Davidlind.
Here’s a photo that was overlooked in the rush of vacations and post vacation readjustment.
I used a new tool on it that eliminates some of the noise that seems to always find its way into digital photographs.
It’s also one of my favorite themes. Dolphins! This one was involved with shipping. Perhaps a bit incongruent.. But do I care?
I am not sure I like the way the filter has messed with the water around the dolphin. I’m going to have to look at this awhile. In the meantime here is some fabulous new music from the amazing Andrea Bocelli.

Very nice photo. I just back from the coast in Mexico and I loved it. I also got some great photos and hopefully they are as good as this one. Thanks for sharing.
Hi David - by the looks and sounds of it, you had a great vacation yourself. Mine was great too, I am however still catching up on my google reader as I was surprised by the amount of material that piled up, but it is great to be back in the world of blogging.
Anyway love this pic and I saw the others of the dolphins and wildlife and makes me think maybe we should take a vacation down to Virginia Beach next time
That is one thing I have always been craving to do and that is to do some whale and/or dolphin watching. I love the beach but any I go to, don’t seem to have any of the big fishees
That is a stunning photo, I love the solitude feel of it, you could get lost in that photo!
Hello David,
Photo looks awesome. I see what you mean by the water around the dolphin. There are three noise control buttons: a white one, blue one, and red one. The white one was a little high on this. That is why the water looks smooth instead of crisp. Also when you use the sharpening on the bottom, uncheck the conservative box, check all three other boxes: Y, Cr, Cb, and turn up the high sharpening slowly, checking the image by clicking on it. Leave the medium and low sharpening all the way down.
Takes a little while of playing with it to get used to the filters.

Thanks guys. And thanks Todd. I would never figure that stuff out. Appreciate it very much. If you would ever like to do a technical teaching post on this product or anything else here let me know. You can be a guest blogger anytime.
You are welcome David.
I have all the confidence in the world that you will figure it out. I had the same problem when I first started using this product. It took me about 1000 photos to see what was happening. We will try to at least cut that number in half for you.
LOL
Todd
I was hoping we could cut it down to say about ten percent.
Thank you Kylie. Maybe I need to fix this photo. It really does have some potential from what you guys are saying.
