Virginia Beach/ Surfers Having Sunday Service

Well we are here. And the eyes snapped open at five am as if they heard an alarm clock going off. What could I do except wander down to the beach?
But I was not the only one down there. It’s amazing how many people you can find on a beach on a Sunday morning at dawn in July. Surfers were coming in from all directions. And bunch of kids were taking pictures of each other on the edge of the surf. A guy with two fishing poles staked out his turf also on the edge of the surf. And one guy was snoring loudly on a bench after apparently arriving ahead of everybody else with all his worldly belongings.
I am taking RAW images now because I was able to purchase an eight gigabyte memory card that will take about seven hundred images of this type. I also purchased a card reader and boy was that a good idea. It would probably take about half a day to load images into this laptop the old way. Speaking of the laptop I have no idea if the color is right on these photos. This computer is not reliable in that department so I am having to trust the auto fix feature on the Flickr photo editor. Please somebody tell me if they are way off or hundreds of photos will have to be done over by the end of the week.
Blogging will be sporadic and as we will be out doing things most of the time. Vacations are like that.
