Ohh Hooters Girls, do you two actually think that I am that shallow as to ignore a sporting event just to look at women in short shorts and tops.

HHahhhaaaa. Maybe. Boy was it hot out there. And not in a good way either. He might have focused on the shade. That's what I did. I did a lot of experimenting with my histogram. Used the plus and minus things too. Whatever they are called. Stayed on S as in MSAP. Shutter priority.

I'm trying but my fevered brain will only allow me a few tricks per week.

Visuallens I understand after standing out there yesterday. And I need a 300 mm telephoto lens. This 18 to 200 Nikon is great but most of the races were taking place on the inside track. A few happened in the middle. None happened near me on the wide dirt track. A major bummer.

Maybe next time.

I can see you have captured many photos of this horse racing. I also have the experience of this type of assignment in my old day. The race is always in the hot sun and there is no place for us to hide away from the sun. I have to take two cameras fixed with a long telephoto 300mm telephoto for the track running and another a normal lens for the finishing. David unless you love horse betting other wise... I don't like to cover this type of assignment.
