Horse Racing at Colonial Downs

(Click on the title of the post first to avoid tangling with the sidebar slide show)

Central Virginia has horse racing.  And it’s a fun way to spend a day.  There’s lots to do at the racetrack.

And it’s a good way to get a tan too.

Here are some photos from our day.  Maybe I will post more tomorrow.  But I’m pretty tired right now and need to go to bed.

Real nice work at Colonial Downs.
Were those pictures of Katie taking today during the third race?

Thank you. Yes. The photo of Katie (standing on the scales) was taken today and I believe it was after the race she won. The photo of her on the horse I believe was taken before a later race.
Oh wait. The other one of her on the other horse shows her going across the finish line in first place.
I actually have a lot of photos of her after that race. I will post some more of them soon.

Thanks, great picturs. You certainly have “the eye”.

By the way, i was at the track today, and I think Katie Crews won another one. Not a hundred percent sure because I wasn’t following he race she was in, but I’m pretty sure.

Katie won again? Great. Glad you liked the photos. And I hope she gets to see them too.
You have an interesting blog. And I agree about the deer running around the streets. I’ve written about it too actually! But not with pictures. Yet.
Take care and keep in touch.
