- One Year Anniversary/ Wordpress Blogging Adventures
Tomorrow marks the one year anniversary of my Wordpress blogging adventure.
Not much has changed since then. I am still trying to relax and you will still see photos here of subjects that are primarily attempting to help me (us?) do just that.
Now I have four or five blogs and three of them are very active. I am happy to have made it this far and appreciative of those who were around last summer and still hang around here sometimes.
Hopefully things will progress in the second year. But blogging is about having fun unless you are making a living doing it. Are any of us making buckets of money?
If the answer is no then we should be doing things we enjoy when we blog! Right? There are Template Tombstones littering the Internet and many of them in my estimation belong to bloggers who were not enjoying themselves. They were not happy with the “progress” they were making perhaps. They were trying to do what the experts said they should do instead of what their hearts hoped they would do.
And they were not making money either. I met some of them in the past year and thought they were pretty wonderful people. No doubt they still are. Wherever they are.
Let us have a moment of silence as we remember some of their most memorable posts.
Thank you. Amen. Have a great Monday.

Congrats on one year David, mine was June 2, its funny how far things have come but still stay the same. Most bloggers give up after three months I think I read somewhere, and there are many days I don’t feel like I want to add another post or scan someone else’s blog but there is a certain comfort in knowing I can always go back to the people I have gotten to know over the last year and that they are always there to be found.
Most of the people on my blogroll are there for a reason, and thats because I consider them friends, so here is to you on your One Year Anniversary David !!

Thank you Bernie. You express these feelings very well. And I appreciate your remarks. I can remember the first time I looked at some of your photos and that is pretty remarkable really because there are LOTS of things I don’t remember. I was pretty awed by some of them. And one of the great things about blogging is finding a friend after you go through that kind of experience.
Congrats on your blog year anniversary! Well done. Amazing how we continue to grow as our blogging skills increase, isn’t it?
Best wishes,
Barbara

Happy blogging anniversary, David!
Keeping a blog updated often is not easy. It requires hard work, a passionate tenacity to blog on, and sometimes, it can be emotional and stressful. Glad you and me still can move on..
There are some going nowhere in their blogging, especially the “Make Money Online” bloggers. I have a friend and he just hang up the mouse.
Happy surfing and blogging

Wow David – one year! Well Happy Anniversary! That is really an accomplishment as I too heard that many bloggers rather quickly get bored, disillusioned or just fed up with blogging and quit.
But again – we should not in the end be doing this for anyone else than ourselves. If it brings you pleasure, growth and serves you then do it and when it stops doing that, move on to something new. That is where we can grow the most and get the most satisfaction out of life.
So here is to another great year!!!!
