Enjoying This Beautiful Weather?

Today is one of those top ten days of the year you learn to appreciate as you get older. There is no humidity and a nice cool breeze. And there are huge, fluffy white clouds up in the sky that don’t ever seem to obscure the sun.

And I am down here pretending I have landed on another planet.

It’s easy to do on a day like this. If you look at the wonderful sky for awhile it tends to make you forget all the mess that is down here. You could become a citizen of the planet Blugulla for example (pronounced blug’-you-la).

I myself am a star ship captain who is on leave after taking a wrong turn in the Constellation Constipurnace (pronounced consti-purn’-ace), I was busy talking to one of the crew when I should have been following the advanced GPS guidance system (The G is for Galactic not Global).

It should have warned me but i turned it off earlier because it gives off this creepy glow in the dark.

Blugulla is a lovely place because they have moved everything underground except for the trees, plants, lakes and buildings made entirely of glass.

It’s very strong glass. And it offers very little privacy. But nobody seems to care and if they did it really wouldn’t be a problem because there are giant plants surrounding every building. It’s an ordinance. Community planning is very important here.

And we get around on these little vehicles that fly without a sound through the air and up to the top of our many mountain ranges without a problem if we want to go there.

What a view.

So I am having a wonderful day and just wanted to share. I hope that some of this fine weather has turned up in your area.

And so now I must go. I have CARE packages for several earthlings who were picked up and brought back here as part of a foreign exchange program. I wish some of them would stop whining and enjoy the program. They may think they want to go home.

But when they do go home they will kick themselves for not enjoying all of this while they had the chance.
