We were up in Washington DC in early April and while walking around and discovering a level of back pain I had not experienced in quite some time I took this photo.
Every once in awhile I look at this thing and wonder “Did they really not see what they were doing from this perspective?” Because it clearly looks like the horses are getting ready to trample the Capitol and all the little politicians inside.
Maybe it’s just my overactive imagination combined with my always present paranoia at play here. But if I was in charge of putting up this thing it would not go unnoticed. In fact I bet all the workers who put it up would have noticed it.
And probably even a lot of tourists notice it. I love it when artists start playing with space.
The only ones who probably never noticed it were and are the pols who work inside.
