My Number One Rule/ The Blogging Adventure

I have noticed lately that a few blogs I enjoy have fallen by the wayside. And it’s not clear why this has happened. But other bloggers have written about it so it seems that it does happen. And there are abandoned blogs floating around like small rafts out in the middle of the ocean.

A scene from Titanic comes to mind. “Move over girl! There’s room on that thing for both of us!”

Whenever I feel like I HAVE to do something while blogging and I don’t want to do it there is this rule written up here in red ink that I follow. I don’t do it. If it’s a chore it doesn’t get done.

Something else WILL get done however. It’s never “blogging is a chore so I will go do something else”. And we want to avoid getting to that point. It’s more like we can do THIS or we can do THAT. But we want to do THAT.

So THIS doesn’t get done. Probably we would be more successful if we enjoyed doing THIS and did THIS all the time. Oh well.

If someone asked me whether I would like to be a happy blogger or a successful blogger my response would be . . . Can’t I be both?

NO! Choose. Alright. I have to go with happy. Because a successful but unhappy blogger is not something I would be for very long.

Yes, be a happy blogger, and blog often.
Love your photos. My hubby grew up in Rocky Mount. Is the Blue Ridge College nearby?

Hi Amber. Blue Ridge is a couple of hours up the road from Richmond. There is a lot of scenic stuff up there. I should have take more photos. Thanks.
