A Photoblog Is Born

I have always wanted to have a true photoblog. We are talking a blog that has photos at least 800 pixels wide. And it looks like finally the blog wish fairy must have granted me this wish. Because I found a cool photoblog at WPZOOM
Isn’t that a cool name for a blog by the way? And this really is a nice blog and one that I have put on priorty one status. In case you a wondering that is status one level above bookmark status.
Bookmark status is where I bookmark something and it sits there for three months hoping I will have time to visit it again. And someday I will visit it and go “Cool!”. “Where did this come from?”
Priority one status means that tomorrow I will see what has happened on this blog since today. And I may possibly strike up a friendship with the blogger in charge .
That depends of course on a number of factors. A lot of these guys don’t really have time for strange bloggers who arrive from the underworld. We will just have to see about that.
But this blogger has done something very nice in any case. He has found some photoblogs which are far and few between in the Wordpress universe. And this one called Grain is particularly attractive.
It has the ability to put one photo on a page that is huge. But there is a problem. I can’t get the thumbnails to work. If anyone can help me with this I would appreciate it very much. In fact I will give you positions on three PR4 blogrolls if you can help me fix it.
I really want it to work. But here is the problem. Or maybe it won’t have a problem by the time you read this.
I hope so.
Update: Well the photoblog is coming along. But you have to manually transfer each photo to the new template. I have over 200 photos. It takes about an hour to do about twenty of them if you don’t stop to do something more interesting for awhile.
Blogging can be so tedious sometimes.
