Risky Ruminations/ Spring May Be Here
Table of contents for 10/Writing
We enjoyed our walk today. The baseball team at U of R was practicing. It’s almost time for the new baseball season. Soon it will be spring and new things will be popping up all over the place. The tulips have started to make their annual run to the sun. Beth was worrying about them as we walked around the U. I say they will be fine. The worst is over.

I made a comment to someone recently that you can see the seams on the baseball in this photo. It was taken from about twenty feet beyond the right field fence. I love my Nikon D-70 and you can pick up a newer version right here in the Amazon store.

Great shot David it does put you in the mind of spring,
Haven’t been around much lately because of the basketball playoffs here in Indiana. Last night we lost a close game to the number 1 team in the state, we led almost the entire game until some unseen power decided it was time for the “good” team to win.
A lot of politics goes into basketball here in Indiana, we are one of the poorest school districts in the state and our opponent is the most influential and elite private school here. I have coached for 15 years been to the state finals 2 times winning it once, I have been part of some of the best games the state has seen but this one will haunt me for the rest of my life. I have never felt this angry and heartbroken after a loss in my career, I will probably never get over this one.
Thanks for letting me rant buddy but I had just read where you were wondering where my new pics were, and I thought I would let you know what was up.

Man that must have been some game. Send me a link if there’s a write up on the net and I will post it. I can imagine what happened.
