Travelling From Blog To Blog
Here is what I have discovered today as I read various blogs.

Slyvisions dot Com has found a cool plugin that encourages commenting on your blog. Basically it shows…
“your latest blog post from your blog whenever you make a comment. It’s seriously one of the easiest and effective ways to promote your post.”
I am going to try it out just as soon as I get rid of this Vista mess (tomorrow).

Then I went by The Middle Way and found this…

eSangha Sitting Group
“We’ve started a new experiment project where a few of us have started ‘sitting together’ online. It’s off to a great start. If you’d like to sit with us, Leave a comment and you’ll be invited.”

Sounds like a great idea to me.
Next I went by It’s Write Now! and found someone who began blogging last June just as I did. Emma reminded me it is time to start thinking about Valentine’s Day.

So then I drove by Work n Play and discovered…
“Well, you guys must be wondering what the heck am I talking about. I have decided to put this blog up for sale. Yeah, its as much of a surprise to me as it is to you because I had never thought of doing this.”
Another blogger surprises himself. I think we all do that from time to time.

And then I went by SEO Blog and found something that is useful.
“Every once in a while people will ask me to fix their blog, because it’s either slow, or broken. Most of the time this is caused by either broken plugins, or broken themes. There are a few things I tend to do when I get to clean up stuff, and I though I’d list them for you.”

When I was at Work n Play Ritu mentioned a blog which I had never seen. But it is one of the “fastest growing”…
Anywired.
“Your online income begins with one thing: attention.”
And he proceeds to gain our attention. He also makes the point that a blog can be a powerful thing.
“If you can start to think of an active blog as a source of attention you can leverage, it becomes apparent that even a moderately successful blog is an incredible resource for anyone working to earn an income online.”
******
I think that is enough for now. But it makes for interesting reading. And there is much more of it all around us. Isn’t it amazing. Thousands of intelligently written blogs out there just waiting for us to show up.
This is an amazing time we live in and you can say “Amen”. Often when I start to think about blogging I remember the first time someone showed me a transistor radio. He was carrying a radio around in his pocket! Imagine that.
Back in the fifties. Back in the last century. I love saying that.
