Patriots vs Giants / Super Bowl Predictions

It would be so easy to say that the New England Patriots are going to win the big game and just let it go at that. They already beat the NY Giants a few weeks ago when they were tired and beat up. Their quarterback Tom Brady didn’t have his best game that day. He had a headache if I remember correctly.
And they had wrapped up their season earlier and were probably looking forward to a game that wouldn’t be too tough. Maybe many of the players thought they would have an opportunity to relax on the bench while the younger rookies got a chance to play. You know how it feels when you go to work expecting a light day and something unexpected happens. Suddenly you are working like a dog and calling your wife to tell her to hold dinner.
Maybe that’s what happened to the Patriots. The Giants in an inspired move caught them unprepared and unawares (what a cool word “unawares”).
But do any of us think that this is going to happen again in the Super Bowl? My beloved Pats are going to throw every trick they have learned in their illustrious history at the Giants.
And that is a lot of tricks my friends. But the Giants are good and they keep getting better. It will be a good game. In fact it will be a great game. Because my beloved songstress Jordin Sparks is going to sing the Star-Spangled Banner. She lives in Glendale! What a coincidence! Her father played for the NY Giants so I guess she will be pulling for the other team.
That hurts me a little bit but I will get over it. I received an invitation from her to attend a party before the Super Bowl. Unfortunately I will not be able to go. I will be resting on the couch in our living room watching the big screen tv and trying to figure out where all the cords are supposed to go. If I don’t figure it out the game will be far less interesting. I will be able to hear it probably but I will miss out on the visuals. And I won’t see Jordin sing.
Maybe I should call my new friend the Geeky guy from Best Buy to come look at it before the big day. And I am still looking forward to having Jordin and her family go out to dinner with us down in Virginia Beach when she is in the area.
Hear that Jordin! This blog started out six months ago because you inspired me with your AI run. And it keeps chugging along just hoping and waiting for the day I am honored to meet you. Keep up the good work and congratulations on your GOLD record!
I’m sorry about your team having to play my Patriots. But it will be a good game. And we will all enjoy listening and watching you sing.

Jordin is putting up 50,000 dollars when she has her party at the Super Bowl. She is asking for matching donations and it all goes to her four favorite charities. Put me down for 1,000 clam shells when we see her at the beach. Plus dinner at our favorite restaurant! Beth knows that I am “Out to lunch” when it comes to this rising Super Star.
