Looking at these lovely birds in flight I am full of wonder. Their necks are so long and they just go through the wind while up in the air hundreds of feet high. They can fly in formation while doing all of this. And they are so graceful.
It was worthwhile going out there on Sunday just to see them. Everything else was a bonus. In about two seconds I was able to swing the camera around and take the photo that is now the new header.
I was sneaking up on a group of these geese as they ate in a peaceful cove when my cell phone went off! And while I tried to explain to my son where I was they slowly paddled away. So I didn’t get the close up I really wanted. But I had to laugh. Technology can be a real help. But it can also mess up your plans!
