My Blogging Goals
Table of contents for Restless Legs Syndrome

One of the things that Google tells me is that I have a stable base of about five hundred readers who come by once per day, week or month. These folks never comment but they are here. And I would like all you guys to know how much I appreciate you. I realize that I often fall short in my blogging efforts. I can be obnoxious and tedious at times. I try to be entertaining and funny but fall flat on my face. So thank you for not writing and telling me so.
I know that folks like Darren Rowse and Lorrelle must think I am a total idiot after I comment on their blogs. But they don’t say so and I appreciate their patience.
I have a strong desire to build a successful and entertaining blog. Being here on the computer helps my restless legs. If I start to read a book I fall asleep in five minutes and that brings on these awful sensations in my legs. But I can go on the computer for hours and feel great. My 58 year old body needs to feel great and avoid RLS.
And I have to believe that in spite of my obvious weaknesses that someday I will figure out what makes many folks happy to read or see on this blog. It will have to be something that I enjoy doing too. But eventually we will all get together at the level of great blogging. I have no evidence that this will happen. But I believe it in my soul and will continue to try and make it happen.
The average length of a visit here is about four minutes. But that includes all the folks who arrive and take one look around and leave. I can hear them screaming. But the point is that I realize most of you have just a couple of minutes to spend here and I shouldn’t try to write the next great American novel or adventure.
I need to give you something really good in a couple of minutes. It needs to be something that improves your day in some way just as blogging improves mine.
I will try.
