“Your blog and the photos are just wonderful, thanks so much for sharing, I can’t get out to see the lights but this is a wonderful substitute! Happy Holidays and a grand New Year to you and your family!”

This is the kind of comment that just makes all the effort worthwhile. It really does. And what makes it even better is that it came on a day where I also ran into a real butt head. Two prizes from opposite ends of the spectrum and they balance each other out!

There is a tacky Christmas decoration tour around town that I should explore in the next few days. Because you can never have enough Christmas lights. I don’t know how some of these people manage to put up all these lights and keep them lit during the holiday. It must cost a fortune.

But I know they enjoy it. It is their version of a blog I suppose. And it is complete with traffic jams that the neighbors must love. Do you have this going on around your neck of the woods?

All of this would have made Thomas Edison very proud.

I love tacky Christmas lights, there is a man who lives a little north of here, that puts out the largest sets of lights and decorations I have ever seen. It is so tacky it is awesome, you could see from it space, it’s one of those things you want to laugh at when you are on your way to see it but when you leave it gives you a good feeling :)

Sounds wonderful. I hope you can get a photo of it sometime.
