Late Friday nite or early Saturday morning check out the sky for a meteor shower. This one is unusual in that it is caused by an asteroid which will pass near the earth tonight. It will miss us by only eleven million miles. A near miss in the vast distances of outer space.

Asteroids have been trouble in the past. And no I’m not talking about those painful eruptions that sometimes invade my southern hemisphere. Those are hemorrhoids! Although it probably would make more sense to call them Asteroids. And then call the Asteroids hemorrhoids based on their ability to invade our southern OR northern hemispheres and cause the earth quite a bit of pain.

Let’s move on. Shall we? Scientists think that this particular meteorite shower may have been caused by the collision of two asteroids in space. Imagine that. Or if you saw the movie that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made awhile ago you don’t have to imagine it. Little meteor babies everywhere! Who is going to clean up this mess! Well, unfortunately no one. Because as we have found out since we started sending stuff up there NOTHING has to be cleaned up in outer space. Nobody out there is going to throw a fit the way Virginians did awhile ago when New York wanted to send us a barge full of their used up…stuff.

In fact it’s a miracle we haven’t already sent all of our nuclear waste up there.

I can see all that stuff now glowing in the night sky as it circles Brad and Angelina’s meteorite babies .

I think I will go look at some Christmas decorations now. This post is going in an odd direction and needs to rest for awhile.
