Virginia Is For Families

I am looking up at the title of this post and thinking to myself, “David you have really gone over the edge this time. What in the world do you think you are doing?”

Let me try and answer ! For many years I was a social worker and so I tried to help people in various ways. I enjoyed doing it and this made up for the fact that I worked for the government and hated it. So that’s the first thing.

Over the last six months I have written several posts about dating and relationships. They just came to me “out of the blue”. It would be nice to bring them together.

There is a great need for voices to be heard that will speak against all the destructive notions out there that lead to so much suffering.

And I would like to put my two cents in here. Because I know it is possible to have a wonderful relationship even after years of hurt. And I can share ideas about how to make it happen from a guy’s point of view. The ladies may find this amusing. And that’s great! Amusing ladies is half the battle. Right guys?

So it will take awhile to get this thing up to speed. But that’s what we do around here! This blog is a work in progress just like so many of us!
