Writing In My Journal/ Gorillas In The Mist
Table of contents for Topics And TV
Another weekend winds down. Two weeks until Christmas. My New England Patriots win another one as they decimate a recent Super Bowl Champion team. I watched a report on Mountain Gorillas tonight on Sixty Minutes. Mike Wallace wasn’t around so I felt like it was safe to watch it. And who should pop up but Anderson Cooper! When did he leave CNN? Anyway he was the lucky one who got to go see the gorillas. And he seemed to be happy as he chugged through the mud.

Some of the gorillas have been killed recently by a rebel army that is using them as political pawns. If they went out and killed a few people nobody would say too much about it. But there are only about seven hundred of these gorillas left in the world. So the gorillas are more important than the people in some strange way. And the rebels or mafia or whatever they are figured this out.

Bye bye gorillas. Of course they can’t just shoot them all at once. That would be cashing in their bargaining chips. Anderson noted that the gorillas are at the mercy of the guerillas right now because they control the jungle where they live. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if it was the other way around?

Tomorrow the temperature is supposed to go up into the seventies. It will be near the record for this date. Cool. Or not so cool actually. But at least we get to wear those short sleeve shirts one more time.

Have you noticed that the titles to many of my posts have been getting kind of weird lately? Sorry. But I can’t help it. I’m figuring out how to use better keywords in the titles. Some of them don’t fit quite well enough. But considering who is putting them there it’s not really too much of a problem. Is it?
I took off the need to put down information before commenting. I hate doing it when I comment on other blogs. All I want to do is leave a comment. Ask me to do something else and I may not do anything. So maybe this will encourage readers here to comment. I hope so.
Crickets. I spent a lot of time today reading blogs and especially blogs authored by folks who create templates. I love looking at templates. Too bad they only make about four that I can use here. Sometime during this reading session I decided to eliminate most of the sidebar on my poetry blog. No distractions there now!

I have created a new niche. Poetry with large photos and very limited sidebar. Think it will catch on?
Update: I have decided to move the poetry here and keep photolinklove.com just for photos. Not much writing or anything else will be there. I don’t want to make the search engines wonder about it. Because there’s nothing to wonder about at all. It’s just me loving to blog and put up templates. And it has a new template just like this one. With two sidebars! Things move quickly around here. Sometimes.
Oh well. That’s enough for tonight. Welcome to all my new readers. Keywords brought you here. I hope you will look around at the sitemap or the welcome page or popular posts and decide to stay. And Please don’t forget about the “great race” and click on the link here to vote for Tiny Tim this Christmas season.
