Virginia Is For Families

Darn Good Reviews is a recent entry into the world of blog reviews and he’s doing a good job. It’s clear that he knows what to look for in a blog and makes interesting and constructive remarks. If you go there and look around you will immediately notice that he knows what he is doing. More so than me for example. And that’s why I am reviewing his blog. I need a lot of practice.

Probably just about anybody who does a blog should review other blogs as a way of reaching out to the community and building solidarity. Linking is good too. Links to real blogs are so helpful. And you really start to appreciate real blogs and links after you have seen all the made up stuff out here. I saw a blog one time that looked pretty good until you actually started to read it. And then I realized that a mindless person wrote these sentences. Or maybe a room full of chimps. Or maybe Donald Trump has a blog.

So I am going to follow the adventures of Mark Sierra as he reviews his way through blog land . Because I need to learn how to do it better and then go out and start reviewing again. It’s easy to get away from doing it. Reading someone who does it well will hopefully be an inspiring activity.

So Mark is doing well. And I’m not just saying that because I requested a review from him. I’m saying it because its’ true. And because I’m feeling good and hoping to be feeling a lot better later on.

I’m going to spend some time in the hot tub tonight. Why? What were you thinking?

Update: You know I haven’t heard a word from Mark. What if I never hear from him?! Boy am I going to feel stupid.

Update2: Mark wrote a nice comment and now I can’t remember if I requested a review. This is what happens sometimes as we get into those wonderful senior years.
