It’s Saturday Night!! Part VII

The shelves are going to look very nice. It has been a productive day and it stopped raining. I returned indoors and made up something for lunch. Food doesn’t seem very important right now while I’m in the middle of this project. I tend to be absentminded when doing a repetitive action like using one of these noisy saws. I had to make ten shelves and by the sixth cut my mind was wandering back to the sky. This is a very bad thing to do when you are a few inches away from a sharp cutting blade and moving your hands back and forth.
So I forced myself to refocus on the task at hand and now it is done. All the boards and my fingers are where they should be for the moment. But an interesting thing has been happening for the past hour or two. Fog is moving in. We usually see it early in the morning. But here it is and it looks like it plans to stay for awhile. The dogs have gone downstairs.
Beth called to say they were experiencing some unusual weather as well. And she couldn’t talk for very long.
Maybe a little rest would help. Just a short nap. The dogs won’t mind. It’s not quite dark outside but what’s the difference? You can’t see ten feet in front of you.
Just a short visit to a state of unconsciousness. Everyone has gone. My readers have gone. They have their own worries. The stats are dead in the water. It was fun while it lasted. Blogging success succumbs to the weather and alien mischief. Does fog make you sleepy? It certainly seems to make me want to …………………………………
