Something New/ Richmond Building

I haven’t taken many photos of buildings. It might be interesting to go around town and find something to shoot that is not organic. Especially after taking this picture and having a chance to admire the art that went into it. The side of this building is like a wave turned on its side. And the color suggests a wave as well. Possibly it is meant to “reflect” the James River which wanders on by down at the bottom of the hill.

Awesome looking building - I cannot help but wonder though if it will still be standing in 100 years from now. No offence to the building or anything, or the work that went into the planning and building of it, it just seems though that the buildings of now do not hold up well to the test of time like the buldings of the past do. Which really is a shame!

I don’t think it will have a problem if they repair and maintenance it regularly. That’s were the trouble starts.

Very nice work David, I like how you captured the sweeping lines in the building, wonderful color in this as well. This is really nice, did you use the 12-24 for this one?

    Thats a great lens.

Probably this was the very wide view lens. Thanks, Bernie. My head hurts a little tonight. I should stick to photos and stay away from Margaritas.
