The Patient Ran Over A Hill

And then he went through the woods. SOME body or bodies gave him an injection of StumbledUpon juice! This is a potent concoction of herbs and fruit juices that is supposed to be swallowed from a glass with plenty of ice. And somebody injected him with it. So he jumped out of bed and is all better now. It’s a nice feeling to know some of my readers care enough about him to do something like that.

I have some technical knowledge to impart. You don’t get much of that around here so listen closely. This is good stuff. I have never seen it in any of the really good geek hangouts. And it is really helpful stuff if you get in a spot. Here it is..

If your blog isn’t working well try another browser. Sometimes it’s a problem with the browser. For instance, if you use Foxfire just put it away and use Flock or Maxthon. Don’t use Explorer unless you are desperate. Opera is another really good one I have found lately. Have a stable of browsers handy so you don’t have to download one while you are upset or ready to destroy some of your equipment. Every small problem at this point seems bigger than it really is so have your stuff ready for an emergency.

Uninstall or delete stuff. Get rid of stuff or put it in the corner where it can’t be mischievous. Remember that plugins are not always fully tested with other plugins. I’m thinking that the really big deal plugins made by major concerns have been tested better than the ones made by Tom, Dick or their Uncle Harry. But I could be wrong about this.

Try doing stuff on another computer. If you generally use your desk computer then take you laptop out and try stuff out on it. Or use another desktop. Go to a friends house if you don’t have another computer and use his computer. If you are single use this option as a good excuse to go see someone you find attractive. Maybe you can even get a free meal out of the deal.

If you are married however don’t try this one. You have enough problems already with your computer. If you only have a desktop just go out and buy a laptop. Now you can try out your stuff on a second computer without getting into trouble. You can even leave your home and go out in the woods to try it out.

So now if you have tried out all of these helpful suggestions and the problem is unsolved you are still in a better position. You are out in the middle of the woods and there are probably some loose tree branches around that you can use to beat anything that is over six feet tall. You can yell as loud as you want and nobody will hear you. If you are deaf there is a school of thought that suggests no sound will even have been made in the first place. And try not to hurt any of the bark on the trees while you are using your stick.

So that’s all I have for you now. I hope it is helpful. And really I must be honest with you about all of this. These are not my suggestions. I got them from the guys who care for my domain at BleepedIcan. What can I say? They are champs. And they promised they would keep working on my problems.

I love these guys. They remind me a lot of the squirrels I wrote about a few weeks ago.
