The Patient Is Sitting Up Now

It is pretty amazing to me how a blog tends to heal itself over a few hours sometimes. This one was in awful shape last night. And the timing couldn’t have been better. The writing contest ended last night. What an impression must have been made when folks came by to evaluate it as they made choices! Pretty funny. And I didn’t have any time to go look at the others I wanted to put in the finals.

But the lines of code stuff that live underneath here must have been chugging along last night because we have come a long way. And part of the problem may have been the browser as well. I am learning that you have to delete stuff that accumulates in programs related to your browser. The desktop may be an area like that. I’m not sure but I deleted a bunch of stuff. The Hostican dude gave me the clue because that’s what he was doing when he called me. Just start deleting and then wait awhile. Maybe it’s not an exact science.

So here’s another photo from the Japanese Gardens. It really is a lovely place. And it’s right next to the railroad track too which runs by the James River. We can hear the train chugging down the track at night sometimes. These events run back into our history for quite a distance. The James River was an artery in the economic body of the young nation.
