Saturday Summary

We started off with rain and ended up with a heck of a nice day. The sun gets so bright when the air is clean and dry. And it starts going sideways in the afternoon this time of year. It will blast into the living room through the window and light up the wall on the other side. It drew me out of doors and took me down to the James River with my camera where I tried to take some photos. After awhile I drove down to a large park we have here in Richmond and took some more pictures. Beth called me about six thirty and wondered what happened to me. It was just the sun and the cool breeze caressing my body. I lost track of time.

Here is my new little duck friend. He’s quite attractive and the water is quite attractive. A lot of other folks must have thought the same thing because they were in it just like him.

Focal length: 300.0mm (35mm equivalent: 450mm)

Hi. Thanks, Bernie. I thought maybe you needed a vacation from Taylor and/or Jordin. Glad I was wrong.

I love this photo! Is that duck in the river? The water looks beautiful! It is almost like a painting. BTW, I read about Alex. Poor bird! He was so smart. Maybe all that testing became too stressful, and he would have liked to fly away in the jungle somwhere. He can fly wherever he wants now. Bless his little soul. I guess you could say I am a friend to the birdies!

Birds are wonderful. I understand now why some folks devote all their time to them.
