Welcome to anyone who has arrived from my other blog at Wordpress.com. I know it is difficult to make a change and I appreciate you taking the time to do it. It is difficult for me to keep myself from going back there and checking on things.
But I’m staying here and I hope you will too. This blog is fully functional. If the other one is a sailing ship this one could be compared to a large yacht.
If it ever breaks down I will have a place to go until all is well. I have always had this thing about emergency preparedness. But the sun is shining today and Jordin Sparks is in the neighborhood! Well, not in this neighborhood. But up the road in Charlottesville, Virginia for a concert tonight.
In honor of this day and this blogging transition I feel it is appropriate to pull out a very special bird! No. Don’t send the children to another room. This is a Disney bird. And he still lives (hopefully) at the Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. And he wants to say……
WHERE have you been??? And WHY has it taken you so long to get here??
And DO you have my birdseed??
