Mascot for Davidlind’s Journal

I think it’s time to choose a mascot for this blog. I have thought a lot about this in the last minute and a half. Perhaps the mighty squirrel would be a good choice. I have recently documented some of his finer qualities. He’s courageous and intelligent. He’s calm under fire. And he can sleep when he wants to or when he needs to get some rest. I can’t tell you how envious I am of this talent. I found several squirrel pictures with no difficulty in Yahoo’s search engine. But these are only examples. I’m sure there are many more. When Beth hears about this I’m sure she will suggest a dolphin for this position. That’s fine. It could be a dolphin. It could be almost any animal

But it cannot be a chimpanzee. It could be a penguin. They are pretty nice animals. Life In The Fast Lane has an interesting article on penguins today.
