Hello West Coast

b97a531e Hello West Coast

I am happy tonight because it looks like my reader went out and found a couple of new readers to help him out. And they are looking at stuff that was here a month or two ago. The stuff back there hasn’t become outdated and may even be more interesting than the new stuff. I like to think I’m progressing in terms of blogging skills. But I may very well be wrong.

These new readers must be from the western part of the US or the Pacific regions. Or maybe from India. I love India. It was the home of Paramahansa Yogananda who was a great saint. My son, Zachary, told me a few days ago that he is studying him in his World Religion class. I was thrilled when he told me this. When he was small some of our other family members used to make fun of all this. We sometimes make fun of things we don’t understand. But I will always love Yogananda very much. And India as well. I have never been there. But I have read about it. It seems like a very spiritual place full of people who are actually practicing very hard spiritual lessons every day!

If one of my readers is from India he needs to let me know right away. I would be thrilled. Actually, having a reader from anywhere is wonderful. It’s expensive. But I’m thinking that when we reach eight or ten we may start competitive bidding. But this is a secret for now.

It’s nice having company when you are up blogging in the middle of the night. Everything is quiet here. Beth must have let the dogs out because they started yapping in the back yard and I had to rush out and grab them. Hopefully, they didn’t wake anybody up.

I guess I should post a photo and try to go sleep. Maybe I will dream about India and Yogananda.

This blogging adventure began right around here if you are interested. It seems like a long time ago but it was only back around Fathers Day in mid June. http://davidnotes.com/archives/6

Guess what book I recently bought? The Autobiography of a Yogi. I agree that he was an incredible man..definately someone to immulate. By the way, I am one of your west coast (sort of, close enough) readers.

Hi. I’m so glad you found that book. It’s my favorite book in the world. I wish we lived closer to the west coast so I could go to Encinitas and just be where he used to live.
