I did not like the picture I posted of the Cape Cod Canal. So it is gone and here is another attempt to portray this wonderful waterway. It has been the source of much happiness for all our family. When my two children, Jena and Jeremy, were small and I was being Mr. Mom I used to bring them up here to see their grandparents. We would all take long walks together along the banks of the canal and watch the wildlife and the boats. It was a respite for me.
And I will always have memories of my mother when she was here. She enjoyed the peaceful scenery very much. Her time living right next to the canal may have been the happiest moments of her life. And she passed away here in 1992.
So I really should try and find a better picture.
