Boston has changed since I lived there thirty years ago so we decided it might be best to hire a guide as we explored the town yesterday. We ended up on the Duck tour in a vehicle like this one. It will go anywhere including the middle of the Charles River. Our tour guide was another talented driver, story teller and manager of people. He made us all quack in unison when we were next to a large window full of unhappy looking workers. The roads were just as narrow as those on Martha’s Vineyard but along the sides were large, towering buildings. And once again we did not run over anybody.
