Virginia Is For Families

I ordered a book from Amazon last week and was very pleased after having a chance to look through it.  It is exactly what I need to improve the technical side of this blogging effort.  The author is Catherine Jamieson.  She talks about the two basic groups of people that view a photo blog on the internet.  The first group consists of photographers who are interested in cameras, lighting and exposure settings.  And the second group consists of those who are not interested in cameras or photography but love to discover an interesting picture.  But she also talks about many other blog related subjects.  Obtaining your own domain is high on her list of things to do. There is a very understandable section on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).  And there are lots of pictures and suggestions regarding subject matter for pictures.  I like books with lots of pictures these days as you have probably gathered by now.  And I plan to read this book if it takes a month.  This is actually one of those books you can start at any point and go forward or backward depending upon your needs on a particular day. 
The pages on this book are going to be well worn.  But isn’t that the best kind of book?
