Blogs and Increasing Income
(Updated from earlier in the week)
After the storms and near tornadic conditions yesterday I assume a cold front moved through our area. It certainly seemed like it last evening when we took a walk on the boardwalk. A strong, cool wind was blowing and conditions couldn’t have been much more different from earlier in the day. Last night we slept with all the windows open and that provided the conditions for a good sleep. So after six or seven hours of that why not pop up and do some things? Being older means needing less sleep and wanting to enjoy these good years. How can we do this while sleeping? Maybe this will be the morning the sun arrives in triumphal splendor tossing aside the blanket of humidity it was wrapped in yesterday.
In any case there is time early in the morning to think fresh thoughts and let the mind wander in constructive ways. It is a pretty amazing thing to be able to broadcast these thoughts world wide. So what are they exactly?
“”Another shift in the online marketplace is how we view the World Wide Web. The World Wide Web has been transformed over the last two years into the World LIVE Web.
Content is being created at such a rapid rate that Google, Yahoo!, and MSN have all completely revamped their search engine algorithms to reflect the LIVE nature of New Media.
If you try and do business the same old World Wide Web way, your’re going to sink.
Why do you think we see all the top Internet marketers sharing all their “top secrets” they’ve been using for the last few years at big seminars around the United States? Do you think they’re still using those techniques?
No, they’re sharing what they’ve wrung dry and now that’s going out to the masses of mid and lower level Internet marketers. And doing so will further accelerate the demise of those techniques.
The top Internet marketers are on to new ways to use New Media to create buzz and to build relationships. (They’re just not sharing this with anyone else yet) “”

No, I’m not turning into a business blog. This is definitely a personal blog containing a lot of personal opinions. Truth will sneak up on both of us if it finds its way here. But a lot of you are interested in making money on the web and this guy is talking about doing that in a big way. He’s talking revolution, baby! And Kojack would be interested if he was still here.
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to get excited about the rapidly changing marketplace. It’s a new world, baby!
And it must be a brave new world because the old industrial era was “all about training sheep”. Baaaaa. Granted, my next to worse (see worst in archives) was working on a car assembly line on Friday and Monday nights while the regulars were busy throwing parties for themselves. But this was back in the seventies when your car generally rocked, rattled and rolled down the street while throwing off bolts and toxic fumes.
Those were the days my friend. We thought they’d never end. But thankfully they did and you can move forward with jobs that require you sit at home in your pajamas. If you want to do it that way. I don’t particularly like pajamas but we will leave the scary blog stories for another time.
For those who stopped here because of the title of this post I have given you a resource you might not already own. Get it. It’s calling your name. And when it makes you rich don’t forget where you got it. Links all around! A toast to older guys who once fought in the industrial revolution and ran out of there in the middle of a shift because it was preferable to going nuts.
Sometimes we burn our bridges so that we must must move forward. I love the information age because I knew its predecessor so well. And John-Paul says we have now moved into even another age. It’s the communication age, baby!
And it’s time to check out the sunrise.
Update: I had a chance to look around the webpage associated with this book. It’s pretty interesting. So here’s the link in case you would like to soak up some positive energy on this bright Saturday morning. And yes it did get bumped to the front of the line.
