It’s 5 am already
Table of contents for Restless Legs Syndrome
Lately I have been feeling that life is too good to sleep it away. So four am rolls around and I find it difficult to stay in bed. RLS is least likely to strike at this time of day. It is tied to our circadian cycle and intensifies as the day progresses. It is easy to forget about it in the morning. And most of us wake up at various times at night. I used to sometimes lay in bed and try to go back to sleep. That strikes me now as a supreme waste of time. Unless it works in ten or fifteen minutes why not get up, make some tasty coffee and lovely frozen pancakes. Then start reading about someone’s life in a faraway place. Why not watch the sun arrive and let the dog out. He understands the situation. When we stay at Virginia Beach I can sit outside and watch the sunrise. You never know how that is going to go. It could be spectacular or a nonevent. We will be down there soon and I will post a picture if anything worth noting happens. Meanwhile I have this sunset picture. This was taken in Florida.
