Back from an environmental conference the recent presidential candidate waves to the crowd. He looks fit and trim as he makes a few cracks about all the new candidates out there looking to take a shot at the highest office in the land. Some of them in turn note that he is a lot taller than he used to be.
Everybody is trying to be nice. Genuinely nice. As they try to convince America that , in the words of Marvin Gaye, they know “what’s going on”.
